  • 1 Parchment paper
  • 1 Baking sheet or tray
  • 1 Microwave-safe bowl (for melting chocolate)
  • 1 Freezer-safe container (for storage)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh strawberries chopped
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Plain or vanilla
  • 1 ½ cups dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)

optional toppings

  • crushed nuts
  • shredded coconut
  • drizzle of white chocolate

Instructions

  • Prep the strawberries: Wash, dry, and dice the strawberries into small bite-sized pieces.
  • Mix with yogurt: In a bowl, combine strawberries with Greek yogurt until evenly coated.
  • Scoop and freeze: Drop spoonfuls of the yogurt-strawberry mixture onto a parchment-lined tray. Freeze for 30–45 minutes or until firm.
  • Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  • Serve and enjoy: Once hardened, your clusters are ready to enjoy straight from the freezer!

Notes

Tips for Perfect Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters

  • Dry the strawberries well. Excess moisture can cause the clusters to freeze unevenly or crack when coated.
  • Use thick Greek yogurt. The thicker the yogurt, the better the clusters hold their shape.
  • Work fast. Once the clusters are frozen, dip them quickly in chocolate so they don’t melt.
  • Add toppings before freezing. Sprinkle nuts or coconut right after coating in chocolate for that professional finish.

Variations and Substitutions

  • Fruit swaps: Try blueberries, raspberries, or chopped bananas.
  • Yogurt alternatives: Use dairy-free yogurt made from coconut or almond milk for a vegan option.
  • Chocolate twist: White or milk chocolate works just as well if you prefer a sweeter flavor.
  • Protein boost: Mix in a scoop of vanilla protein powder with the yogurt before freezing.
